As the Volunteer Services Supervisor, Vanessa Smith is responsible for garnering volunteers for a host of JFS events – House Tour, Golf Tournament, Cocktail Party and Card Party to name a few. In addition, Vanessa handles the Food Pantry and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

She also partners with The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore to assist with their programs – Shop at Home, Kosher Meals on Wheels, Friendly Visits and Trash Valet.

Prior to this role, she previously served as a JFS Case Manager for more than four years. She also served as a Residential Counselor at a group home as well as worked with youth as a Behavioral Assistant.

Vanessa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys yoga, meditation, kayaking and spending time with her cats, Leo and Shamus.
